We have had a Parish Nurse program since 1999 and have great support from our two pastors and our Care Team Ministry. We would love to fill this position ASAP. St. Anthony Park Lutheran Church (SAPLC) considers its Parish Nurse ministry to be a significant part of the church's mission in providing spiritual care, health education, support, and God's love to its members. A former Parish Nurse would be available for orientation of a newcomer. If you have a part-time Parish Nurse position and would like more hours, this might also interest you.

Faith Community Nurse

Organization: Peace Lutheran Church of Plymouth


The faith community nurse develops and maintains an organized congregational health ministry that seeks to promote wellness of the whole person through the integration of faith and health. This role fosters the relationship between faith and health by providing congregational care to seniors and members who are ill and health promotion and education for all church members as a matter of stewardship and faith. The faith community nurse works in partnership with church staff and collaborates with church members in order to equip them to minister to each other. When needed, the faith community nurse makes appropriate referrals to community resources and/or agencies.
