Host an EBP Workshop

Does your organization want to partner with FCNN to bring evidence-based falls prevention programming to your community?

We are always looking for host organizations in the seven-county Twin Cities Metropolitan Area would like to offer one of the following evidence-based programs to their community members.


Types of Host Organizations:  Social Service Organizations, Libraries, Community Education, Senior Care, Senior Housing, Faith Communities


Cost:  There is currently not a fee or cost for nonprofits to partner with us as host organizations as long as they are providing space at no cost and registration/recruitment assistance to FCNN to secure program participants; this may change based on funding streams. For profit organizations may be asked to pay a class fee to host these programs. There is not a cost to Program Participants, however, all participants will be presented with an opportunity to participate in a Cost-Share Program that they may choose to contribute to. Contributing does not impact the ability for individuals to participate.


Workshop Leaders: FCNN can train leaders within your own organization or provide you with FCNN Workshop Leaders. Our ability to provide FCNN Leaders varies depending on our capacity and workshop schedule. We host leader trainings in A Matter of Balance and Stepping On at least once per year & may be able to assist you in developing leaders in other programs as well.

Host Organization Provides:

  • Space: A meeting room that is private and seats 15. (Tables in shape of U with chairs that have arms and no wheels.)
  • Equipment: TV/Projector System, Microphone/Speaker System
  • Promotion: Share opportunity with community members
  • Participant Registration: May be asked to assist leaders in helping participants complete paperwork.
  • Materials: ---

FCNN Provides:

  • Space: If Virtual Workshop, FCNN will provide Zoom Meeting,
  • Equipment: If Host Site is unable to provide equipment, FCNN may be able to provide items like a projector.
  • Promotion: Promotional Flyer, Social Media, Juniper Website Listing
  • Participant Registration: May be able to assist site with registration, negotiate during planning meeting.
  • Materials: 1-2 Leaders, depending on program requirements, Participant workbooks & handouts, all other workshop supplies.
