About Us
Who We Are & How We Bridge Faith and Health
Since 2004, Faith Community Nurse Network has been a resource for nurses developing their practice within faith communities across the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Our core services center around education, training, evidence-based health promotion programs, and other wellness programming.
Through the years, we have modified our focus according to the needs of the faith community nurses that we support.
Today, we also partner with many colleges, health-care and senior care organizations to serve the community directly.

What is Faith Community Nursing?
Faith community nurses are licensed, registered nurses who practice wholistic health for self, individuals and the community using nursing knowledge combined with spiritual care. They function as paid or unpaid professionals as members of the pastoral team in a variety of religious faiths, cultures, and countries. The focus of their work is on the intentional care of the spirit, assisting the members of the faith community and other faith-based organizations to maintain and/or regain wholeness in body, mind, and spirit.
