Becky graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and a minor in Political Science. After graduation, she lived and worked for two years in Slovakia where she taught high school English language and history through a program affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. Prior to joining FCNN in June 2014, she held various administrative and operations management positions at a chain of local bicycle shops in Chicago, IL.

Jess Drecktrah, Operating Officer, MHA, MN, RN, FCN
Jessica launched FCNN’s Stepping On program as it’s Program Director. Over the last decade, Jessica has championed innovative healthcare initiatives within academia, provider settings, and retail. Prior to her current role within the Faith Community Nurse Network as Program Director, Jessica served as a management consultant to the YMCA to help define their healthy aging strategy. She also has held leadership positions within Target, the University of Minnesota, Allina Hospitals and Clinics, and Ecumen, a provider of homes and services for older adults. Her areas of expertise include strategy development, program development, as well as project and performance management. Jessica currently leads Life Enrichment at Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS). In that capacity, she oversees the management of over 3,000 volunteers and the internal functions of wellness, evidence based health promotion, activities, Alzheimer’s/Dementia programming, and Supportive and Services at Home (SASH).

Abby Jessen, Administrative Assistant, BA
Abby graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and Linguistics. She held an office assistant position at the Iowa City Senior Center throughout college. Prior to joining the FCNN team in November 2016, she served for two years as an AmeriCorps member coordinating mentoring programs for returning citizens and subsequently taught English in France to under-served middle school students.

Cheryl Lanigan, Stepping On Program Director, MA, BSN, PHN, FCN
Cheryl received her BSN from the University of Minnesota and MA (Health and Human Services) from Saint Mary's University in Winona, MN. She is recently retired from a greater than 40 year career of providing either direct care or administration focused in infant and adult critical care and public health. Cheryl is the FCN at Grace University Lutheran Church and a Stepping On Leader.
