Friends & Co celebrates aging through community-led service that fosters meaningful connections for everyone, and every older adult thrives. Friends & Co members have access to all of our programs. Whether someone would like to reach out themselves for a good phone chat on Coffee Talk, prefers the friendship of a regular Phone Companion caller, or wishes to be paired with a Volunteer Visitor companion to visit with in person, they have that choice. Preferences and personal choices are important to us, and we will do our best to ensure opportunities for connection and community are meaningful and gratifying. Friends & Co, formerly Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly, MN, has served older adults in Minnesota for over 50 years.

A good phone chat works wonders! Coffee Talk is a free drop-in phone line that instantly connects older adult callers with caring “coffee talkers” looking forward to chatting.
Phone Companions connects older adults with a warm and caring phone friend who is ready to create and enjoy a meaningful connection through their warmth and friendship.
Older adults and their Visiting Companion meet one-to-one for friendly visits at home or in the community. In many cases, these unique relationships develop into lifelong friendships!
In partnership with Blue Cross Blue Shield Minnesota, Quarterly Card Connect makes sure members receive cards and notes letting them know someone cares.
