Lydia Volz, RN, BA
Lydia Volz has been a parish nurse since 1995 and currently serves Jehovah Lutheran Church in St. Paul. She is active in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) Parish Nurse Association and was the parish nurse at Luther Seminary from 1998 to 2004. Her nursing career includes labor and delivery care, clinical instruction, and staff development in a nursing home. She was director of nursing at Bethesda Lutheran Care Center in St. Paul. She earned a diploma in nursing from Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing in Fort Wayne, IN, and holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Metro State University. She received her parish nurse training from Concordia College in Moorhead. Volz joined the board in 2006.
