Annette Sandler, MA
Annette Sandler has served on the FCNN board since 2005. She holds a master’s degree in gerontology and certificate in advocacy and leadership for vital aging, both of which were earned at the University of Minnesota. Sandler is the supervisor of the Jewish Family & Children’s Services L’Chaim Senior Services and the Nurturing Our Retired Citizens project (NORC).Through her work at JFCS, Sandler has been active in promoting educational programming for nurses who want to become trained faith community nurses and helped to create sustaining partnerships that have spawned 10 new faith community nurse programs in Hennepin County for Jewish, Muslim, Catholic, United Church of Christ and Methodist congregations.
