Pat McLaughlin, RN, Faith Community Nurse

Pat McLaughlin is a founding board member of FCNN. She is the parish nurse for TRUST, an 18-member coalition of churches in South Minneapolis. Past work experiences include medical-surgical nursing, adult psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry. She worked as an assistant head nurse and head nurse for child and adolescent mental health at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. McLaughlin mentors nursing students from the University of Minnesota and the College of St. Catherine, and she trains community volunteers on visiting skills and health issues. She graduated from the St. Cloud School of Nursing with a diploma degree in nursing and has completed both the parish nurse and parish nurse coordinator programs through Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. McLaughlin joined the board in 2004 and is a member of the Education Committee.
