Jan Daniels, RN, BA, Faith Community Nurse
Jan Daniels joined the FCNN board in 2007. Her 52-year nursing career spans many health care settings, including hospital trauma nursing, primary care clinics, assisted living, long-term care, and employee/occupational health. She currently works for the Minnesota Visiting Nurse Agency flu immunization program and provides private duty nursing for a child with a disability. She earned a nursing diploma from Nazareth College and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Metropolitan State University. Daniels received her parish nurse training from Concordia College and has extensive experience in the United Methodist Church as a parish nurse, parish nurse coordinator, association board member and chair. She also serves on the Lyngblomsten Parish Nurse Advisory Board.
